Viral take against the Ravens by Mike Florio makes no sense. But Guess What?

As the NFL attempts to usurp the attention from the NBA’s legendary schedule of games, the forthcoming Christmas Night game between the AFC and NFC leaders, the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, respectively, is anticipated to be a key highlight of the triple-header on December 25.

The game has also brought forth all the hot takes one could anticipate from a matchup of this nature (which the majority of people have already dubbed a “Super Bowl Preview”). Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk wasted little time in finding a way to turn his absurd analysis of the game into a viral sensation (again).

The 49ers crushing Baltimore is the only thing our friend Florio can see happening (thanks to Kevin Oestreicher for capturing and sharing the film).

“As long as those guys (the 49ers) are healthy, they’re going to run over everyone,” stated Florio. “The 49ers kick the s*** out of the Ravens.”

Known for having no grudges, the analyst expressed his opinion about the competition clearly, going so far as to use numerous s-bombs while live on the show.

“I apologize for being nasty to the Ravens, but let’s be honest: the 49ers absolutely destroy them. The 49ers will completely destroy the Ravens. The Super Bowl will be awful if this is a preview.

After recognizing that some Ravens supporters, as well as players and staff, would feel “disrespected” by his opinion, he hurriedly said, “Let’s be realistic.” Florio believes that the Ravens have no chance of winning on Monday.

“They got to fly across the country on Christmas night, and the 49ers are waiting,” Florio replied. “And the 49ers are going to dismantle the Ravens.”

But Lamar Jackson, the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, has accepted his team’s position as the underdog going into this match.

In an interview with reporters on Wednesday, Jackson stated that he would rather have the public and oddsmakers question him. He began, “I enjoy being the underdog.” “I believe we play better when we’re doubted and [when] people aren’t choosing us to win the game.”

According to Vegas’ most recent update, the game will also include the top three favorites for the Most Valuable Player Award, which are, in order, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, and 49ers running back Christian McCaffery.

As per ESPN, the teams that are tipped as favorites in a Monday Night Football match have won seven straight games, which is the greatest winning streak in the history of this primetime slot.
