What’s new with Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace, then? Let’s examine this.

What is the tale?

Spurs are eager to bolster their center-back corps.

Due to a severe hamstring injury, Ange Postecoglou has lost the transformative Micky van de Ven, and Eric Dier will be leaving when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

During the summer transfer window, Tottenham also lost Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon, Clement Lenglet, and Japhet Tanganga, so the north London team is in dire need of a new central defender.

Postecoglou is now focusing on Guehi.

The Daily Mail claims that Spurs met to discuss possible January additions, and it was during this meeting that the £50,000-per-week Crystal Palace defender and Everton No. 32 Jarrad Branthwaite were discussed.

The shortlist reportedly includes Benfica’s No. 5 Morato, AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw (No. 28), and Sporting CP’s Goncalo Inacio.
