Dawson Knox, a tight end for the Buffalo Bills, is maximizing his time off. Alex Seefeldt, Knox’s girlfriend, accepted his proposal, which he disclosed on December 3.
The pictures suggest that the 27-year-old staged the most spectacular surprise by surreptitiously bringing Seefeldt’s relatives and friends to witness the proposal. Knox, who last year inked a four-year, $52 million contract extension with the Bills, shared pictures of the touching occasion on Instagram.
“I guess this is what the kids call a ‘hard launch,'” Knox wrote. My soul is in love with the person I have found. Knowing when you know… and it didn’t take me many months to decide that I wanted to live out the rest of my days with her. Comments from Bills supporters, players, and former teammates quickly flooded the page. “Congrats 👏,” tweeted Ed Oliver, and “Congrats king,” added San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
After posting a video of Knox’s proposal, Seefeldt said, “1.30.23 💍🤍 The easiest YES of my life!!!” God is so wonderful. I’m prepared to live my entire life by your side! I cherish you.❤️
During the bye week, Bills linebacker Baylon Spector was thinking about love, just like Knox. Ryleigh Campbell, Spector’s fiancée, disclosed that on December 1, he proposed in Central Park with a stunning double diamond ring. Posting images of the momentous occasion, Campbell commented, “Two souls becoming one.”In less than a year, Dawson Knox and Alex Seefeldt started dating.
Although there were first reports of a romantic relationship in March, Seefeldt—a certified personal trainer—and Knox made their Instagram debut on June 30. Seefeldt posted a picture of the couple holding hands during the Nashville CMA Fest and shared an album with Knox. Knox jokingly remarked, “Lil farty 🥰,” on the post.
The 27-year-old Pro Bowler posted a photo of the two on his Instagram Stories the same day. Knox was featured in pictures from Panama City Beach that Seefeldt had previously shared, along with a video of the couple playing golf at the exclusive Troubadour Golf & Field Club in Tennessee.
Seefeldt posted a grid of images of the couple on her Instagram Stories before the Bills’ season opener against the New York Jets, writing, “Game 1… let’s GOOO” and a heartfelt “I love you.”
This season, Knox’s fiancée has gone to multiple Bills games, including Buffalo’s “home” game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which she went to London for. She went to the games even after Knox stopped participating.
After the bye week, Knox, who has been on injured reserve for the past few weeks due to a broken wrist, is anticipated to rejoin the starting lineup. Before being on injured reserve, Knox had only 15 catches for 102 yards and one touchdown in seven games. In his comeback, let’s hope that the former third-round pick of the Bills in the 2019 NFL Draft can recover.
Born and raised in Buffalo, Alex Seefeldt spent nine years teaching martial arts.
According to her LinkedIn page, Seefeldt completed her education at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart for high school and the University of Buffalo’s School of Public Health and Health Professions for college, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 2021.
Seefeldt spent more than nine years working as a part-time instructor at Master Khechen’s Martial Arts Academy prior to becoming a personal trainer. Seefeldt and Knox paid a visit to the academy in April.
