The GOAT Jersey Swap Between Stephen Curry and Novak Djokovic
Stephen Curry exchanged jerseys with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers after the Golden State Warriors completed their business with them. It turns out that tennis great Novak Djokovic was the source of the jersey he was given.
In that specific game, Curry scored 31 points with six rebounds, five assists, and 50 percent shooting from the field against the Lakers, who were headed by LeBron James. In addition to Draymond Green’s six points, twelve rebounds, and thirteen assists, Klay Thompson contributed 26 points while playing well off the bench.
James had a huge game, scoring forty points, grabbing eight rebounds, and dishing out nine assists, despite the Lakers losing 128-121. Sadly, in addition to causing the game to be delayed for more than twenty minutes, a challenge to an out-of-bounds play also nullified the King’s previous corner three-point attempt, costing Los Angeles points.
Ultimately, the Warriors’ triumph enabled them to take ninth place in the Western Conference, improving their record to 35 wins and 31 defeats. The Lakers, on the other hand, have a 36-32 record and are in 10th place.
