SAD NEWS: Dolphins Reveal Brutal Injury Update On Jalen Ramsey

According to Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk, Miami Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey’s status for his team’s pivotal Week 17 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens is now labeled as questionable because of a knee problem.

Given that Ramsey, a standout defensive back, missed the first eight games of 2023 due to a ruptured meniscus he sustained during training camp, this is very troubling.

Although Ramsey had surgery to fix his left knee, the report does not clarify if this is the same knee.

The Dolphins’ defense has significantly improved since Ramsey’s return. In terms of yards allowed, Miami was 21st in the NFL when he returned to the field in Week 8. The Dolphins are now ranked third in that category going into Week 17.

There is no doubt that Ramsey’s presence has played a significant role in Miami’s defensive improvement, even though there have undoubtedly been other contributing elements.

The 29-year-old has 16 tackles, three interceptions, and five passes defensed in eight games.

After being acquired by the Los Angeles Rams in a trade back in March, Ramsey is currently playing in his debut season in South Beach. In return for his services, the Dolphins sent the Rams a third-round selection pick.
