TWO BILLS RULE OUT DEC 15 Safety Micah Hyde (stinger) and defensive end A.J. Epenesa (rib) are both out of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott’s announcement on Friday.
Hyde has been dealing with the stinger problem for a few weeks, but in Week 14’s 20-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, it seemed to flare up again. After making a spectacular interception of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the first quarter, Epenesa also left the game due to an injury.
McDermott stated that both players might end up in the injured reserve.
On Sunday, Buffalo (7-6) and Dallas (10-3) will start off at 4:25 p.m. ET.

For the second day in a row, tight end Dalton Kincaid (shoulder, thumb) and cornerback Taron Johnson (ankle) were both limited.

The Bills’ chances of making the playoffs and possibly even taking the lead in the AFC East at the end of the season are enhanced by Miami’s defeat.
In Week 4, the Bills defeated the Dolphins 48-20, and they will be looking for a repeat performance when Buffalo travels to Miami in Week 18.
Naturally, in order to force other 7-6 to accept some losses, the Bills will still probably need to win out and may benefit from some assistance from other teams in the league. For the time being, though, Buffalo is well-positioned to pull off a spectacular late-season comeback.

The Bills immediately regained possession after going four and out on their opening drive, and they used a six-play, 53-yard drive to score the first points of the game when Josh Allen found James Cook, a running back, wide open along the seam for a 25-yard touchdown.
