Rumours:Warrington Wolves Star Wants NRL Move In 2025

According to rumors from Australia, Matty Nicholson, a forward for Warrington Wolves, has purportedly informed the Super League team that he wishes to leave in order to go there in 2025.

According to Code Sports, Nicholson—who represents five NRL clubs—is reportedly courting interest from as many as five clubs for a move as early as next year. Nicholson has reportedly informed the Wolves of his intention to depart.

The 20-year-old, who is among the top young players in Super League, is one of numerous Warrington players who have improved under Burgess’ direction since the start of the current campaign.

Clubs hoping to sign Nicholson have gotten in touch with his management, Liam Ayoub. The back-rower, who reportedly declined the opportunity to join the NRL when at Wigan Warriors, is an experienced player. His decision to come to Warrington has undoubtedly paid off, and the Wolves may soon be receiving a transfer money for a player who is thought to have a bright future in the game.

The Halifax-born forward has already made his England debut, and if and when England finalize their preparations for 2024, he’ll probably be back in Shaun Wane’s squads later this year.
