Aaron Rodgers problems Malik Nabers challenges before the Giants and Jets combine.

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Jets, did not participate in the preseason, but he did address the media before their joint practice with the New York Giants, which included youngster Malik Nabers, took place. Although supporters are still unable to determine whether Rodgers has fully healed from the Achilles injury that kept him out of action for the entire previous season, his attendance at training camp may nonetheless be comforting.

Per the report, Rodgers reportedly has “no preference” on playing in the final preseason game, leaving it up to coach Robert Saleh’s call. He also added that this year’s training camp was “maybe the hardest in the last seven or eight of my career.”

The star QB also added, “I’m excited to see Malik (Nabers), see what he’s all about. (It will) be a good opportunity for him, going against our premier corners. #Jets”

It’s possible that the 39-year-old Rodgers will play against the Giants despite his admission that he has no preference to play in the preseason finale. But, there will be a fine line to walk because, while the team clearly doesn’t want their star to re-aggravate his previous injury or even sustain a new one, they also want to know whether Rodgers’ skills have declined during his absence.
