REPORT: Bulls Attempted to Trade Zach Lavine For Darius Garland

Before the trade deadline, the Chicago Bulls are anticipated to be busy, and rumors about the changes they would like to see made to the team are beginning to circulate.

According to rumors, Zach LaVine is available for trade, and the Bulls are reportedly searching for players who can win now rather than potentially dismantling and rebuilding the team. Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports reports that Chicago has made an effort to trade LaVine for other All-Star players, including Darius Garland of Cleveland.

According to league insiders, the Bulls are still looking for the kind of haul that a multi-time All-Star usually brings in: an established starter together with a young player with upside and then first-round draft money. LaVine is undoubtedly predicated on résumé.

Other Bulls players that have been linked to trade speculations include Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan.

Additional NBA Trade Rumors
According to Jake Fischer, the Hawks and Raptors “held serious discussions” regarding moves that would bring Pascal Siakam to Atlanta. League executives anticipate that Toronto will agree to trade Siakam or OG Anunoby.

In the event of a Siakam trade, the Kings are a team to keep an eye on, and the Raptors are considering a possible trade including Keegan Murray (Fischer).

On Friday, 81 NBA players—five of whom are Cavaliers—became eligible for trade.
