Ravens’ John Harbaugh drops truth on Dalvin Cook’s Baltimore signing

The 2023–24 NFL season has been outstanding for the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore leads the AFC North standings with a 13-4 record. In the season finale, the team suffered a painful defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nevertheless, Dalvin Cook’s addition to the roster excites John Harbaugh and the Ravens.

John Harbaugh talks candidly about the arrival of Dalvin Cook in Baltimore.
During a team news conference, Harbaugh talked about Cook’s signing with the team:

“The arrival of Cook presents a great opportunity.” Dalvin expressed his want to be here, therefore we will address his fit issue later. But as Carita Parks reports, Harbaugh stated, “We sure do appreciate having another really good player on the football team.”

Cook joined the New York Jets in 2023 after playing for the Minnesota Vikings for six seasons. In order to provide Cook the opportunity to play for a team that could make the playoffs, New York and Cook came to an agreement to part ways. He was connected to several teams. Thankfully, he made it into the Ravens roster.

Despite not having his best season, the 28-year-old is still very productive. In 2023, Cook had 214 running yards on 67 carries. He aims to support Baltimore’s ground game approach as the team prepares for a lengthy postseason run.

The offensive line of the Ravens will be even more lethal than before. Lamar Jackson has proven to be a formidable opponent for Baltimore’s team. 24 touchdowns and 3, 679 yards have been thrown by the seventh-year quarterback. He also has a QBR of 65.3, good for fourth place in the league.

With the regular season drawing to an end, John Harbaugh and the Ravens are confident in his team’s standing heading into the postseason. The fact that Baltimore fell to the Steelers in their last preseason game will negatively impact the team’s attitude.
