Guard/center Cody Whitehair, a free agent, has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a report released on Monday by Pro Football Network.
According to the source, the deal is worth up to $3 million with incentives and includes a guaranteed $1.4 million.
After eight seasons and 124 games (118 starts), Whitehair, 31, was released by the Chicago Bears on February 15. Last season, he participated in all 17 games, including 11 starts.
The 6-foot-3, 316-pound lineman was selected by Chicago in the second round of the 2016 draft out of Kansas State.
In 2018, Whitehair was selected to the Pro Bowl as the Bears won the NFC North after finishing 12-4.
