Prior to the Spurs game, Gary Payton II was listed as probable for the Warriors.

A much-needed roster boost is coming for the Golden State Warriors. Gary Payton II is listed as “probable” for Golden State’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, Nov. 24, despite missing the previous three games due to injury.

After a difficult November, Golden State will enter the game hoping to recover from their defeat to the Phoenix Suns. Payton II can be counted on to exert maximum effort on both sides of the court and provides the second unit with energy and explosiveness. After 12 games, he has averaged 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist while shooting 34.6% from three-point range and 45.3% from the field.

Still, the return of another rotation player will probably please Steve Kerr, moving the Warriors closer to a full-strength lineup.

The game will take place at the Chase Center and is scheduled to begin at 10 PM Eastern Time. It is unclear if Payton II will be included in the rotation.
