Although Dalvin Cook is still a free agent, he is trying to convince NFL teams that signing him would be a wise investment for the 2024 campaign.
Cook, an experienced running back, continues to feel that his resume speaks for itself. Cook has been working out in Houston with NFL trainer Justin Allen. In addition, he thinks that his inactivity in 2023 makes him an even better bet for a season of comeback.
Cook is right when it comes to his lack of reps. Following four years as the undisputed starter in Minnesota, he was essentially benched by the New York Jets at the end of the season after receiving just 67 carries. In the end, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens for the postseason, when in his lone game, he ran for 23 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
Cook may have a landing spot with one competitor, which is fantastic news. In the end, it’s unclear what kind of role he may anticipate in 2024, though it seems likely that he will eventually find a squad to join.
