Daniel has a strong faith in Fields. He expressed his belief that the player selected eleventh overall in the 2021 selection has a high upside and is headed in the right direction. In 13 games in 2023, Fields passed for a career-high 2,562 yards, 16 touchdowns, and a career-low nine interceptions. In addition, the former Ohio State Buckeye scored four touchdowns on the run and gained 657 rushing yards.
