NEWS JUST IN: Steph Curry Reveals Conversation With Draymond Green After Suspension

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is currently suspended indefinitely from the NBA for his latest unsportsmanlike act on the court. This one came in a loss to the Phoenix Suns, when Green struck Jusuf Nurkic in the face with a spinning shot.

The Warriors have been open about Green needing to do a better job staying on the floor, but the conversations surrounding this latest incident have primarily been about Green improving his overall mental wellbeing. This is what Steph Curry spoke about following Thursday’s loss to the LA Clippers.

“He can’t do what he’s been doing,” was the topic of yesterday’s conversations. He is aware of that. We are aware of that. Everyone is aware of that. I believe the search for the solution is in defining what it means to change. That is the path we are currently following.”

Curry continued, “Him personally, making sure the focus is getting right, getting on a path that allows him to be who he needs to be as a person, as a man, a husband and a basketball player in that order.”

The Warriors are aware that the goal is for Green to return to the court as a more composed player and person, but they are unsure of how long this will take. Everyone wants to witness this, and the Warriors are optimistic that it will be possible.
