NEWS FLASH: There was a lot of UFC in him! When Draymond Green interferes in NBA battles with just foreign opponents, he is called out.

With his third ejection of the current NBA season for his actions against the Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic, Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green has once again found himself in a difficult situation. Green’s former teammate Nick Young offers his thoughts on the star forward’s recent ejection during his appearance on “Undisputed.”

The former teammate of Nick Young, who was fired from the Denver Nuggets during the 2018 NBA season, is criticized for his interactions with European players, particularly his behavior with Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves after Green choked him and was sent off the court. In a same vein, he ran into issues with Sacramento Kings player Domantas Sabonis during the 2023 postseason.

Young said:

He’s more of a cheap-shot guy. He’s more of a cheap-shot guy, but he tends to do that to a lot of Europeans. He messing with nothing but foreigners. People don’t like (Rudy) Gobert. He’s the most unlikeable guy. But you don’t run in there and grab somebody’s neck. He had a lot of UFC in him. You know how he ran out? That’s how they run down the ramp. Nick Young on Undisputed

In the third quarter of the game, Draymond Green struck Suns center Nurkic, resulting in his ejection from the court. There’s nothing official on this, but even though Green expressed regret for the entire affair and apologized to Nurkic, it was another aggressive act on his part that might have major consequences.
Regarding Draymond Green’s latest ejection, Skip Bayless said
Tuesday night’s game between the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors saw Draymond Green, the team’s star forward, get into foul trouble once more after hitting Suns center Jusuf Nurkic. NBA expert Skip Bayless expressed his opinions about the star’s possible penalty in light of Green’s actions, speculating that he would miss more than ten games due to his suspension.

Bayless in his statement said:

It might be more than 10 games this time, because I can tell you this, this commissioner of this league is not going to like this one. Not on top of that one, and that one, and that one. Because this league cares about its image. Skip Bayless on Undisputed

Regarding the star’s punishment, the NBA hasn’t yet released any formal remarks. Draymond Green was punished by the NBA following his ejection from the court after strangling Minnesota Timberwolves player Rudy Gobert. Not too long afterward, Green was in a similar situation again.
