The Golden State Warriors are reportedly considering a major roster shakeup, with rumors suggesting a potential trade involving Buddy Hield and other assets to acquire Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine. While Hield has faced difficulties with his perimeter shooting since December, LaVine remains a consistent and versatile scorer who could provide a significant offensive boost alongside Stephen Curry.
According to reports, the Warriors have been in discussions about a trade deal involving Andrew Wiggins, who is currently on a $23 million contract. In addition to Wiggins, the proposed trade would likely include other players such as Gary Payton II, valued at $9.1 million, Moses Moody at $5.8 million, and Buddy Hield, who carries an $8.6 million salary. The deal may also involve draft picks to sweeten the offer.
Despite the active trade discussions, the Warriors have made it clear that Jonathan Kuminga is not part of the trade talks and is considered untouchable at this point.
