Three things to keep an eye out for in Allegiant Stadium during the Minnesota Vikings vs. Las Vegas Raiders Week 14 matchup tomorrow.
Josh Jacobs of the Raiders is the first to go. Jacobs would reach 800 rushing yards for the season with 29 rushing yards against the Vikings. He would have 800+ rushing yards for the fifth time in a row in this season. He would become one of just two NFL players, along with Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans, to have at least 800 rushing yards in every season since 2019. His 800+ yard rushing streak over five consecutive seasons would rank second in the NFL’s active streaks.
In one game against the Vikings, Jacobs has ten carries for 44 yards in his career.
Davante Adams, a wide receiver for the Raiders, is another player to keep an eye on for the Vikings game tomorrow. Adams would reach 70+ receptions for the season with six receptions. His eighth straight season with 70 or more catches would tie for the seventh-longest streak in NFL history and be the second-longest active streak in the league. In eight consecutive seasons, he would become one of just ten players in NFL history to record 70 or more catches.
Throughout his career, Adams has accounted for 1,050 yards and 13 touchdowns on 93 receptions against the Vikings.
Finally, one player to keep an eye on for tomorrow’s game against the Vikings is defensive end Maxx Crosby. Crosby would join a select group of five players in franchise history if he were to record 1.0 or more sacks tomorrow and reach 50.0 or more career sacks. Additionally, he would be the only player in Raiders history to have five or more career sacks during his first five seasons in the NFL. Crosby would become the fourth player in NFL history since 1987 to record 300+ tackles and 50.0+ career sacks in his first five NFL seasons with five tackles and 1.0 sacks against the Vikings.
All three of these Raiders are on a record-breaking watch going into tomorrow’s Week 14 game at Allegiant Stadium against the Vikings. Keep an eye on them.
