Maxx Crosby Shares Heartfelt Exchange After Jacobs Agrees to Sign With Packers

For running back Josh Jacobs, the adage “once a Raider, always a Raider” is accurate.

Jacobs received a lot of support on social media following his agreement to sign a contract with the Green Bay Packers, which ended his five-year stay with the Las Vegas Raiders. And at the forefront of that was a message from Maxx Crosby, a current NFL standout and pass rusher in Las Vegas. Following the announcement, the two had a poignant conversation on X.

Within five minutes of Crosby’s message becoming viral, Jacobs replied, expressing his gratitude and affection for his old teammate.

Selected No. 24 overall in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Jacobs was an Alabama product. As he mentioned, Crosby was selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft, and he was in the same draft class.

Both players (three for Crosby and two for Jacobs) have appeared in many Pro Bowls. In 2022, Jacobs was named a first-team All-Pro, and again in 2021 and 2023, Crosby was named a second-team All-Pro.
