After their Week 13 bye, the Las Vegas Raiders have a lot to look forward to.On Wednesday, the team said that Brandon Facyson, a cornerback, will be returning from injured reserv.
Facyson, who was signed for a second stint in March after playing for the Raiders in 2021, has not played yet this season because of a shin injury he sustained during training camp that put him on injured reserve prior to the start of the regular season.
Facyson was limited during the Raiders’ practice on Wednesday, according to their first Week 14 report, which was released prior to their game against the Minnesota Vikings.
There were other Raiders back in practice besides the seasoned cornerback. On Wednesday, the Raiders also said that linebacker Kana’i Mauga would be coming off injured reserve. He suffered a knee injury in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, and was placed on the injured reserve list in October.
Pro-Bowl defense end for the Raiders Maxx Crosby did not take part in practice on Wednesday, therefore he was also listed as injured. Crosby was listed as doubtful for the game because of a knee injury, but he nevertheless participated in the team’s Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Due to a shoulder injury, Raiders offensive tackle Kolton Miller missed Wednesday’s practice as well. He missed Las Vegas’ games in Weeks 10 and 11.
Theo Jackson, a safety for the Minnesota Vikings, was absent from Wednesday’s practice due to sickness.
On Wednesday, Vikings cornerback NaJee Thopson (knee) and running back Kene Nwangwu (concussion) were both limited.
On Wednesday, wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring), defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga (knee), and cornerback Akayleb Evans (calf) of Minnesota were all full participants.
After missing the Vikings’ previous seven games, Jefferson, who led the NFL in receiving last season, was cleared to return from injured reserve last week.
