According to the FanDuel Sportsbook, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and San Francisco 49ers passer Brock Purdy each are now tied for the best odds (+300) to win the NFL MVP honor. Prescott led the way in the Cowboys’ Week 13 home win over the Seattle Seahawks, as he threw three touchdown passes in the contest. Purdy logged four passing touchdowns in the 49ers’ road victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts entered Week 13 boasting the best odds (+150) to win this season’s NFL MVP award, but he now holds the second-best such odds (+350).
There are a few other players who are still well in the race for the NFL MVP honor, including Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. The sixth-year passer’s odds for the league’s most prestigious individual honor took quite a hit during Baltimore’s bye week. Jackson is now tied with Miami Dolphins passer Tua Tagovailoa for the fourth-best odds (+800) to take home the award.
Jackson will have plenty of opportunities over the remainder of the season to boost his odds for the NFL MVP award. For one, Baltimore will host the Dolphins in Week 17. The Dolphins are currently in possession of the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 9-3 record.
Jackson has tallied 18 total touchdowns and a 98.4 passer rating this year.
