Lamar Jackson of the Ravens Talks About His Appearance on the Injured List

Due to their bye week, the Baltimore Ravens did not play in Week 13. However, they must have felt victorious as they witnessed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, the two teams closest to them in the AFC North battle, both suffer losses.

The Browns lost to the Los Angeles Rams away from home, while the Steelers were humiliated by the Arizona Cardinals at home. Kenny Pickett, the starting quarterback for Pittsburgh, suffered an ankle injury, while Joe Flacco became Cleveland’s fourth quarterback of the year. Both teams struggled with quarterbacking.

So far this season, the Ravens have been quite fortunate with regard to the health of their quarterback. Lamar Jackson has not missed a game, which is regrettably becoming a yearly occurrence in the last several seasons.

Still, there are a few things to be concerned about after the bye week. Jackson didn’t practice on Thursday, according JPAFootball on X, the former Twitter. He wasn’t there today after participating fully on Wednesday. Since this is the first time this season that he has missed practice, no explanation has been provided.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the issue, this will be something to watch. Given that Jackson was active on Wednesday and the team is coming off a bye week without him having an injury designation from their previous game, it is undoubtedly a confusing situation.

In the event that Jackson is unable to play, Tyler Huntley, the backup, would be the team’s choice. In lieu of an injured Jackson, Huntley has started four games in each of the previous two seasons and has made three appearances this season.

In 12 games this season, Jackson has played well as he was recently finding his stride. He has completed 68.3 percent of his passes, which would be a career-high, for 2,618 yards and 13 touchdowns with five interceptions. He has added 574 yards on the ground with another five scores as he is taking to the offensive coordinator change well.
