Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews’ relationship has been a key component of Baltimore’s attack, but the combination needs to shift at this point.
Without Andrews, who had ankle surgery on Tuesday and has a “outside chance” of recovering before the next season, the offense will have a difficult time scoring.
After joining the team in 2018, Andrews has amassed 381 receptions, 4,857 receiving yards, and 40 career touchdowns. Jackson did not minimize the impact of Andrews’ loss.

“I believe he’ll (Likely) step up and do what he’s supposed to do,” Jackson stated. “Whenever I watch a movie, he’s always available somewhere. Charlie is catching the ball and blocking his tail. Tall tight end, that’s him.
We probably got along well during his rookie season because he was having a great time. Just by virtue of their maturity and one year in the league, those guys know what to do this year.”
