Following the Indiana Pacers’ defeat, Austin Reaves Gives Anthony Davis Heartfelt Appreciation

Sunday night, Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 150-145 victory over the Indiana Pacers at home in another outstanding performance. Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves offered Davis his roses after the game to show how much he enjoyed working with the adaptable big man.

I simply like having him as a teammate. He greatly eases everyone’s life on the floor. According to Mike Trudell of Spectrum, Reaves praised Davis for “his dominance of the game on both ends of the floor” following the game.

The Lakers are now up to three games in a row after defeating Indiana thanks to an outstanding performance by Davis. In 40 minutes, Davis put up 36 points on 15/21 shooting from the field, grabbed 167 rebounds, and added two steals, three assists, and a block.

Reaves led the Lakers with 25 points, while three other players scored at least 20 against the Pacers’ porous defense. Reaves was 11/12 at the foul line but only 6/13 from the field. LeBron James and Spencer Dinwiddie, on the other hand, combined for a 16/30 field goal shooting percentage and each had 26 points.

The Lakers are not quite ready to unwind. They begin a pivotal six-game road trip on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, and they will want to get started while the iron is hot. The 39-32 Lakers are now three games out of the top six in the Western Conference standings, despite being ninth overall.
