Even if the ruling on LeBron James’ three-pointer helped the Warriors, Steve Kerr wasn’t a fan of it.

The significance of the three-pointer not only reduced the margin from 124 to 120 but also cost the team 45 seconds of less aggressive play, which affected the outcome of the game overall. It also moved the deficit back to seven.
Steve Kerr, the coach of the Warriors, responded to this nonsense with this.
Despite how much the Warriors gained from the shot not counting, Kerr’s candor is welcomed. He is correct that that only occurs once or twice a year, and that it wasn’t even considered at the time. Anecdotally, it’s acceptable to take down the hoop if the officials were reviewing the play or if Kerr had challenged the shot.
Combine it with the shot clock issues and the officials’ extraordinary efforts in a primetime, must-win Saturday night game, and this could go down as one of the worst NBA basketball presentations in recent memory.
