Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, has been instrumental in both of the team’s previous two victories and is contributing to the team’s return to the postseason.
ESPN claims that Allen’s arm is the strongest in the NFL, something that has always been praised.
“A high-RPM thrower, Allen can hammer the ball to every level of the field,” according to ESPN. “He has 11 throws of at least 25 air yards this season, and his pass velocity is on display when throwing into tight windows (37.3% completion rate on tight-window throws, sixth in the NFL per NFL Next Gen Stats).”
Allen’s ability to blow a hole in the defense at any time is a major factor in Buffalo’s offensive success. That threat is constant when you have receivers like Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs who can go deep. It assists with the running game as well as posing a threat.
With 968 rushing yards, James Cook is having one of his greatest seasons with the Bills, and running back Josh Allen has scored a career-high 11 touchdowns.
When the Bills play the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Allen and his arm will be trying to move the team one step closer to the postseason. On Peacock, kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
