This year, Baltimore Ravens supporters will be pleased with the ratings for the most recent installment of the venerable Madden NFL video game franchise, which is coming around every year. It should come as no surprise that Lamar Jackson, the two-time MVP quarterback, is once again rated highest by Baltimore fans. The extent to which his rating is so high may surprise you.
Jackson scored 98 overall in Madden NFL 25, which is his highest launch rating in the franchise thus far, according to MaddenRatings.com. Indeed, it was higher than his 94 overall rating in Madden NFL 20—the game he appeared on the cover of—and higher than his 91 overall rating in Madden NFL 21—the game he won his first MVP award in.
As expected, he now trails Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at 99 overall, making him the second-highest-rated quarterback in the game. Jackson, however, is ranked far higher than other elite quarterbacks, like Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals (93 overall) (92 overall). He has rating similarities with Trent Williams, Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, and Zack Martin, among other prominent players.
Jackson, 27, just had what may have been his best NFL season to date. With only seven interceptions, the Ravens great quarterback completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also gained 821 yards and five touchdowns in the air. He led the Ravens to a 13-4 record that led the league, came record, won his second MVP award, and came just one game away from playing in the Super Bowl for the first time.
Linebacker Roquan Smith (95 overall), tight end Mark Andrews (94 overall), running back Derrick Henry (94 overall), and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (91 overall) were among the other Ravens who scored quite well. With the exception of Humphrey, everyone of those players and safety Kyle Hamilton (88 overall) have been labeled as superstar X-factor players. Humphrey, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (88 overall), and kicker Justin Tucker (89 overall) are all consistent all-star players.
