He has particularly shone against the Panthers, making critical saves like the game-saving stop on Sam Reinhart. With a postseason record of 6-5, a goals-against average of 2.16, and a save percentage of .933, Swayman’s contributions have not gone unnoticed.
Former NHL goaltender Carter Hutton praised Swayman’s composure under pressure and his mature, veteran-like performance. Hutton believes Swayman has elevated himself to the ranks of elite goaltenders and could be a pivotal factor if the Bruins stage a comeback in the series.
