GOOD NEWS: Bruins F Pavel Zacha returns from upper-body injury

Pavel Zacha, a forward for the Boston Bruins, will return to action on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Wild, having missed the previous three games due to an upper-body injury.

Charlie McAvoy, a defenseman, is questionable for the game due to an upper body injury. He has missed the previous four games.

Bruins coach Jim Montgomery told reporters on Tuesday that Zacha “is” 100 percent. “After today, we’re just waiting to see where McAvoy is at. He’s probably going to play, but if something changes, I won’t sit here and guarantee that he plays tonight.”

With eight goals and 19 points in 26 games, 26-year-old Zacha is predicted to reunite with Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak on the top line.

“I wasn’t gone for that long, so hopefully it’s going to be good,” Zacha replied. “I believe we’ll see in the game today. I am eager to get into the game and see how it goes because I have only had one full session with the club.”

McAvoy would skate on the top defensive pairing with Matt Grzelcyk if he were to return. McAvoy, who turns 26 on Thursday, has three goals and 17 points in 21 games this season, which tops all Bruins defensemen.
