Giants injury report: Dexter Lawrence continues to miss practice

The New York Giants had a free day on Friday. Their last practice is set for Saturday, when they play the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Day.

The majority of the players were not present at the team’s facilities, therefore the injury status didn’t really alter. The Giants proceeded anyhow with an anticipated injury report.

Nose tackle Dexter Lawrence was expected to sit out the competition because of a hamstring problem that has been bothering him for a few weeks.

Head coach Brian Daboll informed reporters this week that the player was still working out his hamstring.

Sexy Dexy doesn’t look likely to suit up against the Eagles on Monday afternoon, even with an extra day off this week.

Below is the complete (projected) injury report for the Giants on Friday:

Did not take part: NT OL Evan Neal (ankle), TE Dexter Lawrence (hamstring), DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee), Cager Lawrence (groin)

Participant limitation: DT Robinson A’Shawn (back), RB Matt Breida, left hamstring Neck of Carter Coughlin, P. groin of Jamie Gillan, S Xavier McKinney’s health

OL Matt Peart (shoulder), TE Darren Waller (hamstring), RB Gary Brightwell (hamstring), and OL Justin Pugh (calf/neck) are all active participants.
