The Florida Panthers are set to begin their season with a promising addition between the pipes. Former top goalie prospect, Spencer Knight, will join the team as they kick off their 2024-25 campaign. Knight, once considered one of the NHL’s most exciting young goaltenders, is looking to bounce back after a challenging 2023 season that saw him sidelined due to personal reasons and time in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.
Now healthy and focused, Knight’s return adds depth to the Panthers’ goaltending lineup, alongside veteran Sergei Bobrovsky. Expectations are high for Knight, who aims to regain his form and help Florida make another deep playoff run after last season’s Stanley Cup Finals appearance.
