Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors Hits New York Knicks With Blunt Statement: ‘It’s a Fluke’.

Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Criticizes New York Knicks’ Recent Success

The New York Knicks secured a significant victory in Game 5 of their second-round series against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night, winning 121-91. This blowout puts the Knicks just one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals.

However, Warriors star Draymond Green remains unimpressed.

During the NBA on TNT broadcast, Green delivered a harsh critique of the Knicks, suggesting their success this season is not indicative of a legitimate title threat:

“Why do Knicks fans think I hate the Knicks? I told the truth about the team. And the truth about the team is, it’s a fluke,” he said.

Green’s comments have not endeared him to Knicks fans, especially given his blunt assessment of their team’s achievements this season.

Green elaborated by comparing the Knicks to the Atlanta Hawks and the Portland Trail Blazers, teams that had one successful season but failed to sustain that success in subsequent years. He predicts the same fate for the Knicks.
