Dolphins vs. Commanders Week 13 inactive players list: Jevon Holland out for Miami

The Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders will play in Week 13 in around ninety minutes. Announcing their separate lists of inactive players for the game, both teams have made their final administrative move of the week. And the transfer comes with a huge loss for the Dolphins.

Security Jevon Holland won’t be able to play in the game since he has been dealing with knee problems all week. Pro Football Focus has rated Holland as the best safety in the game for the whole season. Holland made headlines across the country last week when he returned a 99-yard interception for a touchdown to seal the Dolphins’ Black Friday victory over the New York Jets at the conclusion of the first half. Miami’s secondary takes a significant hit without Holland on the field.hit

A player who is not on the inactive list is the positive aspect of it. Terron Armstead, the left tackle, is expected to make a comeback to the starting lineup following his injury to his quadriceps during the Jets game. Head coach Mike McDaniel had previously called him “week-to-week,” but it now looks like he will be ready to play today.

Tight end Tyler Kroft, offensive lineman Robert Jones, cornerback Eli Apple, and wide out Robbie Chosen were also on Miami’s inactive list. Although Skylar Thompson, the quarterback, is listed as the emergency quarterback and is permitted to enter the game in the event that Mike White, the primary backup, or starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa are both injured during play, Thompson is officially out of the game.
