The Cleveland Browns are currently on the second day of their preparation for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A couple players from Cleveland did not play on Thursday. TE David Njoku (knee), WR Amari Cooper (concussion), and K Dustin Hopkins (unknowns) were the ones not present.
Good news for Cleveland came yesterday as CB Denzel Ward returned to practice following a two-game absence due to a shoulder injury. In addition, running back Kareem Hunt returned to practice following his absence on Wednesday due to a groin ailment.
Cooper entered protocol and was declared ineligible for the Week 13 match against the Rams. After taking a hard hit, the starting wide receiver had to leave the game. Elijah Moore onto the field and recorded over 80 receiving yards in what turned out to be his greatest game with the Browns.
We shall know more about Cooper and Njoku’s condition for Week 14 tomorrow. Due to their experience, both players are capable of playing on practice day (Friday).
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is permitted to take part in certain drills but is still required to follow the concussion protocol. It all comes down to following the regimen step by step. The Browns’ starting quarterback, Joe Flacco, is the one to watch.
A full injury report will be made available this evening for both the Browns and Rams.
