BREAKING NEWS: Klay Thompson Made NBA History In Wizards-Warriors Game

 

The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards will play in San Francisco on Friday night.

Klay Thompson advanced on the all-time scoring list during the game, creating NBA history.

At 161st on the list, Thompson is currently ahead of Purvis Short (14,607).

The players who Short will pass behind him are Jason Richardson (14,644) and Jamaal Wilkes (14,644).

Prior to tonight’s game, Thompson has averaged 17.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in 26 games while shooting 41.9% from the field and 37.6% from three-point range.

Although he has had setbacks this season, he is currently playing much better.

Most recently, Thompson finished with 24 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block as the Warriors upset the Boston Celtics 132-126 (in overtime).
