BREAKING NEWS: Bills’ Sean McDermott gives concerning injury updates ahead of Cowboys game

After defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on the road to improve their record to 7-6, the Bills are in great spirits. That joy had to end quickly, though, because in Week 15, they will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys and will be without two important defensive starters.

According to head coach Sean McDermott, defensive end A.J. Epenesa and safety Micah Hyde will not play against Dallas on Sunday.

In the victory over Kansas City, Epenesa had one of the plays of the game when he intercepted a ball from Patrick Mahomes by diverting it in the air and receiving it himself. Despite recording five tackles during the game, Hyde is one of the team’s most dependable players and leaders for the Bills.

With a victory, the Bills would move to a comfortable 8-6 ahead of a two-game stretch of games they can win against the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers before heading to Miami to play the Dolphins in the final week of the season. Their hopes of finishing the season strong could be severely damaged by a loss.

When Epenesa and Hyde are out for Sunday, they’ll need their depth to fill in. With their current injuries, Shaq Lawson and Damar Hamlin should see play.
