BREAKING NEWS: Bills’ injury report puts 2 key defenders at risk of not playing in crucial Cowboys matchup

A couple defensive starters’ injuries have been updated for the Buffalo Bills. Due to injuries, A.J. Epenesa and Micah Hyde did not practice on Thursday.

According to Buffalo Bills PR on X, Epenesa is recovering from a rib injury, while Hyde is now dealing with a neck injury. In Week 14, during the Bills’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, all of them suffered from these ailments.

It’s difficult for a club to sit guys out of practice this late in the week since it’s likely they won’t be available on Sunday. One of the Bills’ most crucial games of the season is their Week 15 matchup as they battle to qualify for the postseason. Buffalo is now the second-best club in the AFC East with a 7-6 record on the year.

The Bills get a chance to leave their mark against one of the top teams in the league versus one of the AFC’s remaining Wild Card spots. On Sunday, they play host to the 10-3 Dallas Cowboys, who are currently on a five-game winning run. The availability of important players like Hyde and Epenesa will be crucial because the Cowboys might be the hottest team in the league.

As the cornerstones of the defense, Hyde and Epenesa have been with the Bills for a considerable amount of time. They are dependable athletes with a track record of stopping big plays. There’s a good probability that one or more of them will be available because the Bills are playing against what is perhaps the league’s most dynamic attack. Teams and players are doing everything they can to secure a spot in the January league at this point in the season.
