Dawson Knox, a tight end for the Buffalo Bills, is now anticipated to play in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Knox was taken off the injured reserve list and activated, the team announced on Saturday.
Knox suffered a wrist injury after Buffalo’s Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He chose to have surgery a few weeks later, at which point he was put on injured reserve.
Following the team’s bye this past week, Knox participated fully in each of the three practice sessions.
Knox catches 15 passes for 102 yards and one touchdown in 2023.
Knox was on IR for a total of five weeks.
Through a video conference, Knox stated, “I feel fresh.” “I believe that this is the freshest I’ve felt in a season at Week 13 or 14.”
Dalton Kincaid, a rookie tight end, stepped up and performed admirably in Knox’s absence. Whether Kincaid can maintain his output now that Knox is back in the fold is a mystery.
