A Former NFL Player Addresses Tyreek Hill’s Most Recent Statements

The Miami Dolphins, led by head coach Mike McDaniel, are without a doubt among the best teams in the league going into Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season. This team is poised to cause some damage once the NFL playoffs begin.Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins’ star wide receiver, believes quarterback Tua Tagovailoa should receive more recognition on a national level because the team is currently expected to win the AFC East division and be a strong contender for the Super Bowl once the postseason starts.

Though Hill may have a point when he says that Tagovailoa is the most underappreciated quarterback in the NFL, his remarks have drawn some criticism, particularly from James Jones of FOX Sports, a former NFL player.

According to Jones, via “Speak” on FS1, Tagovailoa hasn’t defeated any notable opponents yet and isn’t given the same respect as Dallas Cowboys player Dak Prescott.

For a few different reasons, Prescott and Tagovailoa shouldn’t be discussing the same situation because they aren’t comparable.

Prescott has been in the NFL for a lot longer than Tagovailoa, and he plays for the most well-liked team, which means that he will always be subject to a lot more scrutiny than any other team in the league.

Because he hasn’t won a game in his time as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys, Prescott is subjected to the kind of pressure that comes with the job.

Though he has only been a starter for a few years, Tagovailoa is already on track to surpass Prescott in terms of on-field performance.
