The Penrith Panthers will celebrate reaching an amazing milestone on June 29th: 1,000 days as the current NRL Premiers. As the first club in the NRL era to do this, the Panthers did so after winning the Provan-Summons Trophy at the 2021 Grand Final.
‘1,000 Days as Premiers’ is a unique end-of-financial-year appeal being launched by the Panthers Foundation in collaboration with primary partner MyPlace to commemorate this accomplishment. The Panthers are urging the community to participate in the historic 1,000th day celebration by making a $10–$50 donation to the Panthers Foundation over the course of the next six weeks. The Foundation’s programs under the education pillar and Panthers on the Prowl program will be supported entirely by the monies raised.
Furthermore, MyPlace has kindly offered to match the first 1,000 contributions made by any individual up to a maximum of $50, thus increasing the impact of each and every gift by double.
The Panthers Foundation’s education pillar is to increase children’ academic attainment, life skills, and access to jobs and certifications by utilizing athletics as a motivator and support system.
Panthers fans will have the opportunity to witness and gain additional knowledge about the essential work being done throughout the Penrith Community, to which your donations will directly contribute, in addition to reliving and hearing behind-the-scenes details of the coaches’ and players’ favorite memories during the past 1,000 days.
