RUMORS:4 Star OL Tyler Merrill Says He Can Tell fire Hasn’t Left Alabama

Four Star Online According to Tyler Merrill, fire is still present in Alabama.

Merrill is rated among the top six offensive lineman for 2026 on a number of recruiting websites. He has received 21 offers for college football, including ones from Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and other schools. The 2025 recruit studies in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania’s Cumberland Valley.

 

During the Pennsylvania product’s visit, Alabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic told Merrill about the offer from the Tide in his office.

 

“I was thrilled and appreciative to have the chance to perform at UA,” Merrill remarked. “It’s simply a beautiful place overall; I saw practice and could see the fire was still there.”

Merrill thinks that players, coaches, and people in general are “awesome” in Alabama. The four-star hotel respects Kapilovic as well.

“What a great guy,” Merrill remarked. “He’s a great coach with thirty years of experience, and he definitely adds value to the program.”

Merrill actually slings his weight and power around at 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds. Offensive linemen of the H variety never stop driving until the whistle blows. He is lined up at right tackle by Cumberland Valley
