
Stephen Curry, often referred to as simply “Steph,” is a professional basketball player who has solidified himself as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. Born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio, Curry was raised in a family of athletes – his father Dell Curry also played in the NBA.
Curry played college basketball for Davidson College and was a standout player from the very beginning. He was selected seventh overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, where he has spent his entire career thus far.
Curry is a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, winning the award in back-to-back seasons in 2015 and 2016. He has also been named to multiple All-NBA teams and has led the Warriors to three NBA championships in 2015, 2017, and 2018.
