The Boston Celtics were defeated by the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, 132-126. The Warriors defeated Boston in overtime after falling behind by 17 points.
With five fouls, Stephen Curry participated in the whole fourth quarter and overtime. The guard for the Warriors scored a game-high 33 points to end the match.
Jaylen Brown offered commentary on the Celtics’ inability to capitalize on Curry’s foul problems, as seen in footage from NBC Sports Boston.
“I felt like if we would’ve just played instead of looking around, maybe we would’ve been able to attack but we were trying to put him in certain actions.”
Curry extended Golden State’s lead to four points with a three-pointer over Derrick White with less than fifteen seconds remaining in overtime. On the other side of the court, Boston was unable to make an advantage.
The Sacramento Kings will be the opponents of the Celtics’ upcoming game on Wednesday, December 20 at Golden 1 Center. Tip-off is set for 10:00 p.m. EST.
