The Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers were playing on Saturday night in Ohio.Jarrett Allen led the way with 25 points and 14 rebounds, but they were defeated 127-119.
The Hawks have officially confirmed that Seth Lundy, who was on a two-way contract, has been moved back to the College Park Skyhawks (G League), as he did not play in the game.According to Hawks PR: “The Atlanta Hawks announced today that two-way guard/forward Seth Lundy has been transferred to the College Park Skyhawks from the Atlanta Hawks.”
Lundy, a Penn State graduate who was selected 46th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, made one appearance for the Hawks, scoring two points.He has averaged 17.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game in 11 G League games. He also shoots 39.8% from three-point range and 42.2% from the field.
The Hawks, on the other hand, have lost 10 of their first 25 games and are currently ranked tenth in the Eastern Conference.
They have a record of 2–8 in their previous ten games and a record of 7-8 in their last fifteen away games.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Monday night at State Farm Arena against the Detroit Pistons, following their matchup with the Cavs.
In their ten home games in Atlanta, the Hawks have a 3-7 record.
With a 2-24 record after 26 games, the Pistons are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They have lost 23 straight games at this point.
