The Golden State Warriors take on the LA Clippers once more following a very depressing loss to the Phoenix Suns, but they will be playing without Draymond Green.
Draymond Green’s indefinite suspension with the Golden State Warriors will begin tonight with his first game back. Gary Payton II is the only other player on the roster who will be absent because of a right calf strain. Chris Paul, Andrew Wiggins, Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson are all expected to play tonight.
Four players for the Los Angeles Clippers are listed as injured: Moussa Diabate, Mason Plumlee, Brandon Boston, and Paul George. Paul George’s status is uncertain because of left hip pain. He suffered the injury on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings, and the Clippers will decide whether to use him at halftime. Mason Plumlee’s early November left MCL strain is the reason he is out. Moussa Diabate is sidelined with a strained left hip. Because of a medical condition, Brandon Boston is dubious.
The Golden State Warriors let a 22-point lead slip away against the Los Angeles Clippers a little less than two weeks ago. This club has blown double-digit leads before this season, so it wasn’t the first or the last. Golden State will now have an opportunity to redeem themselves, but they will need to do so without Draymond Green.
Tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST, the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers will play.
