The Las Vegas Raiders are getting ready for the 2023 season’s last stretch. They were defeated 3-0 by the Minnesota Vikings yesterday, and they now have four games remaining. The Raiders are still in the hunt at 5–8, but each game now has much greater significance.
Their ultimate goal is to make the playoffs, and the Raiders are aware that this last stretch will not be simple. But having Maxx Crosby, the defensive end, healthy will help.
Despite having a knee injury, Crosby has not missed any games as a result of it. In the most recent episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, he provided an update on his health.
He remarked, “My knee is doing the best it’s done.” It has been a struggle. I’ve been dealing with this throughout the season, so it’s nothing new, but it was obviously at a different level with the infection and everything. As a result, I had to dedicate a lot of time to just taking care of my body, working out, and moving forward. It’s all about gaining ground, and I accomplished that throughout the entire week. I am eager to return to the building and resume my work.
As the best player on their defense and the team’s leader, the Raiders need Crosby to be on the field at their best. Although he has once again performed admirably on the field this season, he is the Raiders’ defensive coordinator and his exceptional play also helps the other players on the field.
Crosby can resume playing the best football of his career now that his knee is healthy. He was playing at a high level despite the knee injury, but now that it is healed, he will be free to move around the field more freely and pursue the quarterback even more.
The news that Crosby’s knee is healed and won’t cause him any more issues that would force him to miss any games will excite Raiders supporters. The Raiders rely on Crosby for more reasons than just his on-field performance.
