RAVENS MUST READ: Who is Projected to Win AFC’s No. 1 Seed Per PFF?

With their record to support it, the Baltimore Ravens have looked like one of the top NFL teams this season.

Just ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs at 8-4, the Ravens are tied with the Miami Dolphins for the first seed in the AFC with a 9-3 record.

With their most recent AFC standings projections released, PFF has Baltimore at the top of the pack. The Ravens had a 40% chance, according to PFF, of earning the first seed in the postseason. The Dolphins are second at 27%, followed by the Chiefs at 22% and the Jaguars at 9%.

This season, one of the NFL’s best defenses, if not the best, has propelled Baltimore. With opponents only allowing 15.6 points per game this year, it boasts the best scoring defense in the league.

In addition, the Ravens’ defense allows just 273.9 yards per game, which is second-best in the NFL only to the Cleveland Browns.

Baltimore has some of the best defenses in the league, and defense wins championships. When combined with quarterback Lamar Jackson’s outstanding play, the Ravens have all the ingredients to challenge for a Super Bowl.

While rushing for 574 yards and five touchdowns, Jackson has completed 68.3 percent of his passes for 2,618 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

With a chance to win ten games, Baltimore will host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 1 p.m.
