Even though they were off in Week 13, the Baltimore Ravens came away from the week as a big winner. The Ravens watched as their three AFC North rivals each lost in Week 13.
For one, the Arizona Cardinals clinched a much-needed road victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Due to the Cardinals’ upset win on the day, the Ravens now hold a 2.0-game lead over the Steelers in the division standings.
Overall, the Ravens dropped just one spot in the AFC playoff picture. The Miami Dolphins, who sit in first place in the AFC East standings, currently hold the top spot in the AFC thanks to their road win against the Washington Commanders. The Dolphins and Ravens each boast a 9-3 record, but it is Mike McDaniel’s squad that is in possession of the No. 1 seed in the conference over Baltimore due to the best win percentage in conference games tiebreaker
If the season were to end today, the Ravens would be squaring off with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC wild-card round. The two sides met back in Week 3 when Gardner Minshew led Indianapolis to an upset 22-19 win in overtime.
The Ravens will look to move to a 10-3 record on the season in their upcoming home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
