Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz, an offensive midfielder, has seized opportunities amidst the continued wave of injuries. Most recently, he put his name on the scoreboard against Granada with a goal in the 26th minute. The 24-year-old barely saw any playing time in the early going of the season due to intense competition.
But as evidenced by his recent play, the Spaniard has taken advantage of the chance to establish himself brought about by the injuries to players like as Vinicius Jr. and Luka Modric.
In the last four Real Madrid games, across all competitions, Diaz has started three of them. And now there are many rumors that he is picking a national affiliation.
For the Africa Cup of Nations, which begins in January, Morocco has declared that they would like to include the Real Madrid player in their roster.
But Brahim can also play for Spain, with whom he made just one appearance in 2021.
Brahim envisions a future in Spain.
According to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Brahim Diaz envisions himself playing for the Spanish national team in the future, even though he respects Morocco and isn’t closing the door on them. He also values the attempts of the political and sporting establishments to “sign” him.
Brahim made his Spain youth international debut at the age of sixteen, and he was recognized for his efforts to the national squad at the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.Although he hasn’t completely ruled out moving to Morocco, it seems he wants to stay with the senior Spanish national team, for whom he has already played. According to reports, Braun Diaz has impressed everyone at Real Madrid with his recent performances, and the Spanish national team will be happy to have a player in good shape among their ranks. A while back, Morocco tried to persuade Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal to choose them over Spain as well, but the teenager ultimately chose to stay with the country he had spent the majority of his childhood in. Now, it appears Diaz is taking a similar path.
