Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer gives a promising update regarding WR who was severely missed against Vanderbilt

The Alabama Crimson Tide may have scored 35 points against Vandy, but as all fans know, it wasn’t enough.

One player who could have helped the Tide score an extra six points was WR Kendrick Law, who was unable to go last week.

Well, ahead of a massive get-right game for the Crimson and White, it’s looking like he may return along with another Tide WR:

Tide Injury Report

“Both of them are out here going through workouts,” DeBoer said Of WRs Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice. “On track like we thought they should be, making progress toward the weekend. Wouldn’t say that they’re full-go yet, but they’re on pace as we had hoped. So getting some work in, some individual and some team work there too, so it’s progressing along and they’re doing a good job.”

Both players carry a questionable designation heading into Saturday. The same can’t be said for OLB Yhonzae Pierre who is out per Kalen DeBoer:

“Yhonzae will not be with us this weekend, just with his injury,” DeBoer said. “Actually didn’t have the information until later yesterday afternoon on exactly where that stood, so expecting him to be out for this weekend, but we’ll see after that.”

The Tide are looking for a bounceback game at home this weekend, as everyone who bleeds Crimson can’t wait to get the taste of last week’s game out of their mouth. A healthy squad will go a long way in doing so, especially with Alabama’s playoff hopes now on the line.
